NOTE: Before actioning any risk setting changes on a merchant's profile, please notify your direct superior and grab an Applications Engineer to assist!

This Risk Setting article covers that of setting the ability for only 1 card to be registered to 1 email address.

This prevents a customer of a merchant from creating multiple profiles on their site and exploiting it.

Always make sure that you are applying a risk setting change to the correct/requested level -> ie, if the merchant wants it across all of their channels, then make the adjustment on the merchant level. If the merchant would only like the change made on a specific channel, make sure to navigate to the specified channel before making the configuration change.

The Risk Setting in question is called "Data Mining, detect Correlations between Account Number and Email (dm.ae)" and can be found by navigating to the following section:

Risk Management -> Risk Checks -> Correlation Detection -> Data Mining, detect Correlations between Account Number and Email (dm.ae)

See here:

Then, from here you adjust the "Maximal number of Registrations of card number per Email (0.0 = unlimited)" setting and set it to 1.

The last step is to activate the setting by setting "Activate Data Mining, detect Correlations between Account Number and Email (dm.ae)" to TRUE
