When a query comes in from Zando where they are asking for reference/transaction ID's for TYME bank reversals you can follow the below steps to get the necessary information.
Nedbank Merchant portal to check settlements:
You need to reach out to Pierre S for the username and password.
Once login details are retrieved you can follow the below steps:
1. Click on Batch reports:
2. You will then be represented the following screen then make you selection for the merchant (For Zando Tyme Bank RF's it would usually be as per the below screenshot)
- Do confirm the Merchant ID from the BIP once you have checked the Refunds to confirm the dates and amount etc.
- Filter by the date the merchant requires references from
- You can see in the output highlighted below where it is filtered by the TYME Bank BIN (484795) number and refund under Transaction Type.
3. Once this is completed you will then copy the Retrieval Reference number (RRN):
Search this number on the BIP but remember the RRN is the Short ID in the BIP so you would need to format it as the Short ID on the BIP like follows with the above RRN's
- 9359.1405.4039
- 0723.5725.7623
You would need to filter by date then you should be able to pick up the transaction.
Once you have located the transaction then you sent Zando as per the below format all the necessary transaction details for each RF, CP (Capture), and Transaction ID:
1st Transaction:
